Griffin is a Fine Art Painter and Web Developer that recently bought a home and moved out to Bastrop, Texas after living in Austin since 2007. He enjoys painting in multiple mediums (oil, spray, acrylic), mural projects, and live painting at lively events around Austin and Bastrop.
He received his Bachelors of Fine Art (BFA) from Tyler School of Art @ Temple University with a major in Painting & Drawing and secondary minors in Art History & Glass Blowing. While at Tyler, Griffin studied under Stanley Whitney and had the opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy – experiences that transformed his painting and artistic direction dramatically.
Griffin has also designed and developed the web for the past 18 years with a focus on semantic markup, SCSS/CSS3, Javascript/JQuery, and Accessibility. He currently is a Web Developer at MCPER @ The University of Texas at Austin.
When not painting or on the web, you can find Griffin supporting the local art scene, making beats, riding his mountain bike, or taking care of the yard.
Griffin is not sure why he chose to speak in the 3rd person in this section but he is pretty sure that it is standard for sounding professional. Just another expertise he consistently brings to the table.
